On 9 March 2014, 35,000 cyclists from around the world took to the streets of Cape Town for the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Momentum Cycle Tour. As part of the BSG Cycle for LEAP team, 77 of these hardy riders were cycling for LEAP Maths and Science Schools and raised over R100,000 through their efforts.

ARM (African Rainbow Minerals) held a careers day for LEAP 3 students to motivate them to begin exploring different careers and to teach them that they can be anything they want to be.
