Next year will be a special one for the LEAP learning community. For the first time ever we will have more than 1000 students across our six school campuses schools, as LEAP 4 reaches complete high school status and Grade 8 is integrated into all LEAP schools.
Giving up a career in biotechnology to become a science teacher at LEAP 2, Babele Emedi soon showed his passion and skills and joined the leadership team. He has just returned from six months in Texas on the KIPP School Leadership Programme.

Brian’s struggles in grasping maths and science while a high school student inspired him to join the LEAP Future Leaders Programme and become a teacher.
This has been a year of highlights for the Development Team with the opening of two new schools (LEAP 5 and 6) and brand-new school buildings in development. The team also worked hard to bring standard assessment, a new leadership model and an aligned curriculum across all subjects in all LEAP schools.
