Become one of the Fortunate 500
Businesses and entrepreneurs dream about making the ‘Fortune 500’ list. Now there’s a new club in town that’s more about what you do with your fortune, rather than how much you make.
The LEAP FORTUNATE 500 club is for business leaders who want to pass their good fortune on to the next generation.
LEAP Science & Maths Schools in the Western Cape, Limpopo and Gauteng provide a high-quality, no-fee education to 957 students from disadvantaged backgrounds every year. LEAP relies on companies and individuals with vision and passion to continue educating South Africa’s future leaders and advocate for systemic change to the country’s failing education system.
To join LEAP’s Fortunate 500 club, new corporate or individual donors must make a minimum R500,000 donation to LEAP Science & Maths Schools. Donations to LEAP qualify for tax relief and socio-economic development points on the B-BBEE scorecard.
INVESTMENT MULTIPLIER
In response to the country’s education crisis, The ELMA Foundation will match new donations of R500,000 or more – Rand for Rand – to support LEAP’s ongoing sustainability.*
This turns your Fortunate 500 club donation into R1 million for education in South Africa. How fortunate is that?!
The Fortunate 500 Club gives business and philanthropic leaders the chance to send a clear message: supporting a high quality education for our young people, no matter where they come from, will help build a more prosperous South Africa for all .
